How to Wear a Hair Topper?
Achieving a natural and voluminous look with your human hair topper is a breeze and takes less than five minutes. All you need are your hair topper, a teasing comb, a ponytail band, and a topper. Follow these simple steps for a flawless result:

- Part your topper and natural hair in your desired style, then hold the topper above your head and line up its part with your own.
- Apply at, in front of, or behind your natural hairline, and while holding your topper in place with one hand, open up one of the front clips. Flip the clip away from your head so that the “teeth” ends lightly touch your scalp.
- Gently slide the clip flat against your head to scoop up some of your biological hair toward the root, then apply pressure to close the clip.
- Repeat the process with the other front clip, and subsequently attach the back clips using the same method. If any discomfort occurs, open and reattach the clip.
How to Choose a Suitable Cap Type for a Hair Topper?
Wig caps can be a bit perplexing for those new to wigs. Despite being hidden, their type plays a crucial role in the wig’s delicacy. We offer four main cap types—classic, monofilament, lace front, and hand-tied/full lace. Here’s a breakdown:
- Classic Caps: Affordable and featuring rows of hair wefts, classic caps allow your natural hair to blend by pulling strands through the wefts around the edges. Ideal for first-time wig wearers.
- Monofilament Caps: Formed by attaching each hair to a flexible mesh material, monofilament caps provide a highly realistic appearance. The strands move softly, resembling real hair.
- Lace Front and Hand Tied/Full Lace: Lace front and hand-tied/full lace caps are usually pricier, but for good reason. These wiglets begin with a lace base, and individual hair strands are meticulously hand-tied to the fabric. Even the direction of the strands is carefully controlled, ensuring a lifelike appearance right down to the roots.
