How To Wear Frontal Hair
- Getting prepared: Prepare your natural hair and wear a wig cap.
- Trim excess lace: Trim any excess lace from the frontal using small, sharp scissors. Cut along the natural hairline of the frontal to achieve a seamless and natural appearance.
- Put the tape onto the hairline: Apply double-sided tape along the front edge of the frontal, ensuring it adheres securely.
- Position the frontal: Place the frontal on your head to determine the proper positioning. Align it with your natural hairline, ensuring it covers the entire front from ear to ear.
- Press the tape area: Gently press down on the frontal, specifically focusing on the tape area. This ensures a secure and snug fit, allowing the frontal to seamlessly blend with your skin.
- Ready to go: Done! Your frontal hairpiece is perfectly in place, giving you a fabulous and effortless look.
Maintaining Your Lace Frontal Hair: Tips and Tricks
Caring for your lace frontal hairpiece is essential to keep it looking fabulous. Here are some simple steps to maintain your frontal hair:
- Gentle Cleansing: Use a mild shampoo to wash your lace frontal. Rinse it under warm water, swish it gently in a bowl of warm water with shampoo, and rinse until clear. Avoid harsh rubbing or tugging.
- Condition with Care: Apply conditioner from mid-shaft to the ends. Leave it in for a minute before rinsing. For medium to thick hair, choose a moisturizer with natural hydrators.
- Avoid Heat Styling: Heat-styling can damage the hair. Instead, let your frontal air-dry or use low heat settings. Heat-styling smooths the cuticle, making it look softer.
- Tame Flyaways: Use a toothbrush and edge boost gel to manage baby hairs and flyaways. Tie your hair down with a scarf or wear a dome cap to keep it flat.
